This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. I go there a lot. It has very fast service, very nice staff, great vibes, and the food is a good price for the quantity and quality. I absolutely love this place. Great place to go. It is always busy but there is always a place to sit because they squeeze loads of chairs into this tiny place. Great place :)

Finally we have a Thai with flavour and spice back in Newtown, sorry to the million other Thai restaurants in Newtown, but you have blanded down to serve the masses that want Thai food Western style. Bangkok Bites brings back some memories of Sumalee. Great food that is catering to those that love Thai food that is not dumbed down to please those that fear chilli. Admittedly I would have liked a little more heat in the food, but guess I can ask for that without the waiter being shocked by a westerner asking for spicy. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Had a great meal here with a group of friends. It was easy to get a table for 7 just walking in on a Sunday night. Service was quick and portions were quite reasonable. The pad Thai was served interestingly — you can choose how much lemon/sugar/chilli you want on it, as opposed to it already being added in. I would definitely come back.

Usually go to Doyota Thai at the other end of King Street. Coz tried this new joint on King near Erko Rd crossing. Slightly different menu than most Thai places. Huge noodle dish portions –enough to share. Nice spice and seasoning on all dishes. Veggie dishes are great. It’s BYO but no worries there are bottle shops a plenty in King.
