As part of The Newport Arms Hotel, The Terrace is a completely different experience from the pub it inhabits. Taking full advantage of the amazing location, it adds with ambience of its own. A great place to have dinner on a summer evening when the sun is setting over the bay, it doesn’t rest on its laurels and delivers in the food department too.
With a large wine list to compliment the food, I find myself coming back here when I want a top quality meal. I have consistently had good meals here, the meat has always been cooked exactly right, and the balance of flavours in each dish has been worthy of a top restaurant, deserving the price tag.
The Terrace may be a bit expensive for a weekly visit, but it’s perfect for a special evening and sets the mood accordingly.
