First time ever at a Nandos (I know, I can’t believe it either). I was impressed! Was trying to work out why most the other franchises in Sydney had a 3 star rating before I reviewed this but I give up. Can’t think of a bad thing.
Great location on the busy bend on Clarke Rd; it advertises for itself. I’ve wanted to come here for years but for some reason or another, I didn’t make it here until now — but I’m glad I did!
The corn cobs were amazing!!! Grilled and browned just right and really sweet. I’ve been craving corn cobs for 2 days and counting since then.
The pita chicken wrap was fresh and tasty. None of the fried oily stuff I would expect of a fast food chain.
The guy who served me (looked like he might have been the owner) was a jolly, friendly Mexican-​looking chap. Him being there made me feel the food was more authentic Mexican.
For a fast food chain, Nando’s certainly delivers — food surprisingly more healthy than I expected, at reasonable prices.
