I really like this place, I have been there maybe 6 – 7 times and I have never been dissapointed. The Chicken Roulade is my favorite, my husband prefers the pumpkin gnocchi. Just one word of caution, if you order a slice of cake make sure it is not just for yourself. The portions are soooo… big you won’t be able to finish it. The service is also very good. The waiters/waitresses are are very cheerful and helpful and you don’t have to wait long for your meal.

It’s one of my locals and I have seen it develop into what it is today. I have never been let down by their service or quality of food. I love their big breakfast with their mushrooms always being my favourite part. Okay so what are the let downs, I would say that the prices are about the same as what you would pay at top paddock. This is a bit steep when comparatively their food is great and makes café 57’s look average. It’s harsh but true. I mean for the area it’s a winner. They make good coffee which isn’t always easy to find in the area, and their food will satisfy the most people from a taste and amount point of view. They always have a great selection of sweets as well that are worth a try. I think if I could I would rate café 57 three and a half stars because just three seems really harsh but unfortunately I couldn’t justify a 4! If you’re eating at pinewood for brunch/lunch, definitely give it a try it won’t disappoint!

Not a bad place. It makes some really good food and I’ve come here a multitude of times with my family and specifically my older brother. The coffee, on the older hand, is really ordinary and not really worthy of mention. Maybe if they grabbed a better collection of beans and a better machine they’d be able to sway me into giving them more stars. Until then, they’re just sitting on «A-OK». The staff is quite friendly and the place had a really good atmosphere.

This is another on of my favourite places to eat. Yes it’s a bit pricey for being at Pinewood, but the quality of the food does make up for it. It has nice atmosphere for a casual meal and you can easily hold a conversation. I’m told the salt and pepper squid is fantastic from the two friends who ordered it. Service is very good and staff is friendly. A great spot to have a meal or dessert before or after a movie, or pop out for a nice lunch.

I had lunch here not terribly long ago. I’d planned to see a movie at the cinema at Pinewood and thought I’d turn up an hour or two early and have some lunch and maybe do a little bit of shopping. Walking around the block, there were plenty of choices for places to eat, but I decided I’d give 57 Café Bar Restaurant a go. I’ll be honest — it was a bit expensive for what it was. I mean, an $ 18 steak sandwich? It was extremely nice though, and the serving size was more than enough, but it’s not the sort of lunch I’d indulge in every day. The service was reasonable, with staff who are friendly and polite. Décor-wise, it’s a fairly modern looking place, and it’s neat. It has a nice atmosphere. For me, it’s a place to go for a nice meal every once in awhile.
