Mt Pleasant IGA

I stop by this IGA on the way home from the city every so often, as it doesn’t add much time to the trip and I can get onto Leach Hwy from here easily. This IGA is pretty well stocked, but being in a well heeled area like Mt Pleasant, it’s a bit more expensive than your average supermarket. That’s not really a problem if you’re stopping by for one or two things as the difference per item is minimal but I imagine it would add up over the course of an entire shopping bill. The service here isn’t anything special but it isn’t bad either. Protip: don’t forget there’s a grocer, gourmet food shop, baker and delicatessen in this shopping strip too, and they have a few treats that are a little bit tastier than the supermarket goodies you’ll find here. A good place to know about, especially if you do daily commutes this way anyway.
