I had my sites set high before entering. Im a huge Curry lover! I came in on a Thursday at noon. No customers was there just me. I ordered a chicken curry and soda $ 16.50. I received a cold plastic container with cold chicken only no rice. I thought this is got to be a mistake so i ask the waitress if they had a microwave to heat it up. She took the cold box from me and 25 minutes later i was still sitting there with no food. If you love Curry like me or if you are looking for a hot meal go elsewhere. This place was a major disappointment and customer service was non existent.

What a great find! I was looking to cater for a party(last minute because of a let done by some other caterer), a friend recommended this place and I was delighted when they confirmed that they would be able to provide for the party even with only a couple of days notice. When I arrived to pick up the food the place looked very basic from the outside but on enterering I found this fabulous little place with a bunch of employee hard at work and fabulous smells wafting my way. What I found was a fabulous quality and quantity of food provided by a group of people who are obviously passionate about food. I strongly recommend that you check this place out, great food, fabulous selection and friendly staff — it works for me — well done Curry and Chips!

I love good Sri Lankan food, and if the Burgher community endorse it, who am I to say otherwise? I love the actual banana leaves-as-plates. I love the food. I love the frozen takeaways and I’m glad to say that their expansion has not hindered quality. I just love this place.

I was hesitant about going to a curry place that serves chips(I had flashbacks to the chinese/pizza/bakery in Tassie that gave me food poisoning.) but my arm was twisted to give it a go. Who would have thought that chips and curry would make such an amazing combination. Certainly not me!(says the girl who dips her fries in her chocolate sundae.). The crunch of a good chip combined with a nice thick curry sauce is heavenly, and worth trying at least once. Chances are you will be heading back many times.

The area in which the shop is located is full of little gems like Curry & Chips. Curry & Chips are a Sri Lankan restaurant/takeaway shop with a selection of beautiful foods. The curries tend to be a little dryer than Indian cuisine, but they are no less tasty. I’ve seen similarly themed restaurants in the UK, a fusion of fish and chip shops with curry joints, and I think the concept works really well. Curry goes with chips beautifully, and this place makes delicious chips. The curry dishes themselves are really good. The biryani is recommended. The presentation is what you’d expect from a suburban curry takeaway, but the dining area is pretty decent. This place does get busy, particularly for the hopper nights. Prices are good. You’ll be full for about $ 15. I know I was.
