OK, I think I’ve recovered enough after hearing the price of my CT Scan to write this review, and all I can say is thank you for Medicare! My local GP when referring me to InSight informed me she didn’t know too much about how they run as they are actually a very new business and only have 3 facility’s open at this point. Walking in, it is a small place but adequate enough that you don’t feel like you’re crammed in to a waiting room, and they have it nicely decorated! The receptionist was extremely bright and friendly and knew exactly what she was doing, and able to help in every way with any questions I had, so I found her very helpful! She was informative straight away and actually took the initiative to ask if I knew about cost and if I indeed had Medicare as it was going to be an upfront cost, which most people just would not bother informing patients, so thank you! Even if you were busted on that iPhone as I came around the the corner once my appointment was over. ;) All guilty of this though, lol. =o) The rest of the staff who assisted me with my Scan were also great, knew their job well and all made sure you knew exactly what was going on and what they procedure entailed, side effects from the dye they were using and just step by step in what was going! To have such a place know so much about what they are doing and using this to ensure the patient is informed and knowing what exactly is going on the whole appointment was wonderful, so well done to this new business, they definitely know how to deal with, inform and make their patients feel comfortable. Recommend Insight any time if you ever need something like this done! This new business will do very well.
