The chicken is a little bland, however the range of salads and roast vege mixes are really good. This is probably the best take out restaurant on the Mosman strip of Military Rd.

Some items here are rather overpriced, but maybe that’s to be expected in a CBD. There was a long line but it moved fairly quickly. However, the place needs much better organization for something so crowded. It currently works by the take-a-ticket system, leaving a crowd of disorganized people in front of the counter. There’s nothing telling you to take a ticket when you walk in, and it becomes a hassle to negotiate the crowd when you’re ready to leave, pick up your order, go to the bathroom, grab a drink, etc. Maybe, I don’t know, a MENU, so that you can look while you wait and be ready to order when your number’s called — it’s hard to see the single list from many vantage points, especially if someone taller is in front of you, and I had trouble figuring out exactly what there was that I could order. I got my order of Portuguese chicken and sat by the celebrity wall. The food can’t be bad if that many celebrities visited, right? I’ll say that the sauces on the side were invaluable — Americans like more sauce than perhaps the bland Australian palette, so I was able to level up in flavour. It was a very good sauce though, and the food was quite good overall. I see now that this is a local chain. Obviously the locals know that this is a good place to go. If possible, figure out what you want to order before you go, and certainly be prepared for an experience that one may call«informal.»
