Some would say I am a sugar addict and to be honest I would probably agree with that. They have some of the most delicious home baked goods I have ever tried, these melt in your mouth cookies as well as a load of different gift ideas and household cook wear. You can actually smell them cooking the cakes, which makes it all the harder to resist.

Wuhoo, another bakery full of products that will distract you from your annual healthy eating phase and diet. The adjectives aren’t exactly modest either which helps with the marketing bash on your subconscious. It feels like an addition to someones home, say that of Bree from Desperate Housewives that has so much time on their hands that they have managed to adapt a hobby to a business. The baking is truly simply delightful and once you have convinced yourself that you deserve a treat, you must undertake the unenviable task of deciding what it is that you deserve.

I was led into this shop by the sign hanging outside it, which intriguingly just says ‘Biscuits’. Once you get inside though, it’s more than just biscuits. It’s a confusing jumble of gifts, cookware and home-baked goodies, all jostling for space on crowded tables. Scrumptious cakes tempt you from underneath big glass domes(you aren’t allowed to lift them yourself — leave that to the pros) and cute baking accessories line the walls. Add to this the warm and tantalising scent of baking cakes, wafting from the kitchen out the back, and you’ve got yourself a most pleasant shopping experience. Some of the gifts on offer were hard to resist, such as a set of four owl-shaped egg cosies. Until I saw these I had no desire to put a cosy on my egg. They’ve always stayed warm enough. Now, I want nothing more. Someone get me them for Christmas?
