Mrs Macs Pies

This is a hidden gem and I’ll tell you why — it’s truly factory direct. Do you ever bemoan the lack of range or local content at the supermarket? The bakery attached to the Mrs Macs factory has a massive range of frozen pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Unlike the supermarket which might have a couple of types, you can get chilli pies, pepper steak, potato pie, steak and cheese, curry pies et al. All made in the same building. The frozen selection are production overruns so it’s luck of the draw but I’ve never left empty handed. Pies go for the bargain price of $ 1 ea. It can get competitive as people trawl the lower regions of the freezers for that elusive pastie. The staff there are always friendly. If you like pies, go there and load up!

I really like a good bakery… no I love a good bakery
Located opposite the Morley galleria shopping centre I only just found out that they have a small shop on the corner selling all things pies and I may have spotted a part of the shop for having sandwiches made up but I only had eyes for pies.
Hot pies or all sorts of flavour are available and I do plan to try them all, there was some sort of freezers with goods for purchase in them but I only had eyes for pies.
It was lunch and I had been excited all day by the prospect of discovering a top notch bakery a short walk from work.
Mrs. Mac you didn’t let me down. The pepper steak pie was delicious. There are many other types of pies available and I will be back to take more notice of the store and what’s inside but today I only had eyes for pies
