Fasta Pasta

I used to visit this restaurant regularly until the quality went downhill. Five years later I decided to give it another shot. Nothing has changed — in fact, it’s gotten even worse. The one star rating is for the cheese garlic bread only — if I could rate it no stars I would. The dishes ordered were risotto, lasagna, tortellini and ravioli. The risotto had clumps of raw rice through it and had obviously just been microwaved as it had pockets of hot, cold and steaming hot. The lasagna was just a sloppy mess — again obviously microwaved. The tortellini was just cardboard and had no flavor whatsoever — same with the ravioli. I like my pasta aldente but this was just revolting. We tried to complain but it was a busy night surprisingly so couldn’t get the attention of a waitress. Hopefully she got the idea when we left our nearly full plates on the table. What a disappointment. Next time I’ll be heading up the road to Pasta Cup — they at least cook the ingredients fresh!

The words say it all… plenty of pasta and it’s served «a fasta» lol. After Sienna’s in Morley closed down and they forgot to transfer my reservation to their Mt Lawley café, I was on the hunt in a hurry to find another yummy place close by that could accommodate 8 of us within the next hour for lunch to celebrate my daughter’s birthday — and Fasta Pasta came to the rescue!
So off we went and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quick service and tasty food to boot. Their prices are very good and you can order either an entrée or main sized lunch. I found the entrée size was large enough for me and the food tasted fresh. I ordered the Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni and it was lovely.
The kids menu is excellent with meals ranging from good olé’ traditional spaghetti bolognese to fish and chips and Bimbi pizza.
A good time was had by all and it was finished off with some free ice cream for the kids. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good family get together and/​or a relaxing, enjoyable meal.

Great service by staff and management. Well priced meals and quality was there too.
My girlfriend and I attended «fasta pasta» last Friday and where pleasantly surprised on how good the service was. The manager on duty severed us and took us to our seats treating his customers as if fasta pasta was a 5 star restraunt instead of a chain.
Both myself and my girlfriend ordered ravioli with a side of garlic bread and to my surprise it wasn’t more then 5 minutes after we had placed our order we where been served our meals which by all means where very well presented and tasted just as good too.
Half way through our meal the manager came and asked «how is your meal was and if there was anything else he could do?» which been a franchises company I was surprised on the attention to details.
Over all I was very impressed with my experience and will be happy to come back again and again.
