So back in the 80’s this place was serving really upmarket food. These days, a lamb chop with veggies, parmi and roast of the day doesn’t really cut it with the foodies. However I really respect what they do. This club was formed in the 1800’s by a group of cyclists; these days it’s still a community sports club that donates a lot of money back into the community, particularly sporting and kids groups. And in saying the menu is old fashioned, it’s very nicely cooked making it a good place to reminisce over mums olé home cooked faves. Offering pool, poker and tribute bands recycling oldies such as Abba, the NSSC is great for the more mature person looking for a nice night out. It’s also a great place to catch up with extended family and to take out grandma for a weekend treat. Book now for really affordably priced Christmas lunch options with traditional roasts.
