Quite simply the best craft beer I have tried. An excellent venue with great food and local entertainment. The Former Tennant is my favourite beer as it packs a real punch at nearly 8% but is moreish due to its depth of subtle fruit undertones. A great night out but make sure you have enough money for a cab afterwards.

To put it as simply as possible, this place is cool. This is a micro-brewery in the Northern Beaches, currently only serving beer and cider. I was told that they are planning to also start serving wines, but at the moment this is only for craft beer lovers. There is out-door as well as in-door sitting, however, this place is not large so you might be standing. They offer some food, but in all honestly, I didn’t try any of the food here so I cannot comment — saying that, everyone else around us was ordering, and their food looked great. But if you like beer, and a very comfortable and extremely chilled out vibe then this is the place for you. I will definately come here again, and again.

Really cool brewery that is only a few months old and just cleaned up at the latest craft beer awards. You should 1st try the ‘kite flyer’ cream ale. It’s their most popular and came highly recommended by the bar staff who said it ‘just flies out the door’. Having said that, all of the beers are quite unique and tasty– got through 6 of the 9 beers on offer and wasn’t disappointed at all. Each of their beers has a little description about its background/where it came– some of which are quite interesting. If you get a chance, read up on the previous tenant– Really cool relaxed and easy going atmosphere, full of older people and has a welcoming feel– which is a nice change to the short skirts, meat heads and delinquents you get this time of night right next door at Mona pub. Also do take aways! All the food looked great too. I tried the margarita pizza and the chips. Both awesome. In some magical turn of events the chips somehow tasted like those cheese and bacon balls when you eat them with the dip. Something I highly recommend.

This is a brewery with industrial size barrells brewing excellent craft beer, and then serving that equally excellent beer, in a backyard with logwood casual tables sort of setting. Its relaxed, fun and friendly, like a neighbourhood beachside shack should be. The Sunday we went had a live band and some kind of ball throwing game which was totally silly but super fun. There is upstairs seating where they serve food as well, and upon checking with regular punters were informed that is quiet delicious as well. The beer selection is definitely one of the best I have seen. Do try the tasting paddle and then make up your mind about which one of those awesome ones speak to you. Believe me they will! The only downside is that it is really far away making public transport almost non-existent, but there is plenty of parking available right outside.

A great local selection of beers. Has an atmosphere that resembles a North California brewery– good food options, good beer selection. The staff are very relaxed and seem to enjoy chatting to the locals and it’s pretty convenient to have 3hrs parking free next door.
