I’m very picky when it comes to Indian and this place is always delicious! Love their butter chicken, vegetable curry and raita. Naan bread is also nice. This place is easily one of the best in its area.

With the aim of ‘eating locally’, we chose to eat at Beyond India at Modbury — a 15 minute drive from home. Without having to deal with traffic and city parking, this proved to be a good choice.
When we arrived, there weren’t any other guests in the restaurant but I was surprised to see another six groups of people arrive during the time we were there.
We ordered entrees and mains, as we were the only people in the restaurant when we ordered I expected the food service would be quick. But our food did take a while to come out, it seemed that there were a lot of take away orders that were keeping the kitchen busy as well.
The food was nice but not as good as Beyond India at North Adelaide. The butter chicken and plain naan were highlights.
We noticed a poster in the restaurant detailing a ‘more than you can eat’ buffet that is held at Beyond India Modbury on the first and last Sunday of every month. At $ 23.90 per adult, it’s something that I would definitely like to try next time.
