Oporto

Service was great, place looks great. Food a little over-​priced for what it is. Chicken fillet in bun is nearly paper thin making it all bread no filling. Chicken peri peri is tasty and seems fresh. I wouldn’t rush to go back.

The place looks really nice and the service was really fast however food was really disappointing. I guess given the amount of advertising that I’ve heard on the radio about Oporto I kind of had high hopes for something… different.
They mostly do burgers and wraps, which is fine, but I found the wrap that I had to be relatively bland. It just felt like there was something… missing, from it all. Like they had left out some kind of ingredient that would give it that «wow» factor… but there was nothing.
Their chips… concerned me a little bit. It could just be me… but the chips tasted sweet. Like they had added some sugar to the salt or to the oil in which they fried the chips. Like I said… it could just be me… but they didn’t taste how I would expect chips to taste.
I’ll be giving it a miss next time.
