This is a typical nothing pretty, working class pub. Loved it only for the fact of childhood memories or nightmares ha ha ha. Food was not pretentious, and not in your face. The barmaid was old school, polite and welcoming. When we were there on a Sunday night for dinner, there was only a young couple with their baby, until the peace was shattered by a family of typical bogans(renown for dirty 30). That would be the downside of this place if it was a busy night, lack of social etiquette. The food was reasonable quality and at a great price, a main and glass of red or a beer $ 17.00. We chipped in for entrees’ of salt and Pepper squid and crumbed mushrooms. Squid was good however presentation lacking as it has gone straight from fryer to the plate… lot of oil on the plate but not in the squid. Mushrooms a oily Main I had Pork Ribs, tender very filling. Sauce was way too thick, was more a paste. Chicken Parma was huge and struggled to be eaten. Glass of cab sav finished it off. This is the first time I have been here, but for the price and quality of food, not denying the basic amateurish mistakes it is definitely worth a visit. Serve sizes great value for money. The customer service was and is a big thing for me when dining out. The waitress no nonsense knew the menu.

This is your average local pub with your average local alcoholics and no saving grace. Unless your in the mood for the same old I’d just keep driving. Unless you like beer?
