Truly Scrumptious

Truly Scrumptious is casual and comfortable. It’s hidden on Granary Lane (in between Balcombe Road and the large Safeway car park). On a sunny day, it’s nice to sit outside but this isn’t the prettiest of lanes.
Truly Scrumptious is more of a local spot to meet rather than a hip and trendy venue to enjoy a Saturday brunch. It’s typically semi-​full of regulars and locals, often attracting a more senior crowd. However it’s nice for a change to go somewhere calm and pleasant where there’s no lines. Truly Scrumptious is also a nice spot for small groups.
The prices are excellent and quite good value. My brunch recommendation is the breakky roll. It’s delicious, especially that tomato relish they use, and it’s also super cheap ($ 9.50). Coffee is Grinders and there’s usually daily muffins and other baked goods. Truly Scrumptious is a pleasant suburban café.

This quaint little café is truly a hidden gem. Hidden in the alleyway behind the Safeway parking lot tin Mentone. This is one of my favorite eating spots. They do breakfast and lunch and I guarantee you will enjoy whatever you order.
Their muffins are absolutely divine… they come in many favors that vary from day to day. But get in early, they often disappear fast. Although today I was still able to get a blueberry and banana muffin at lunchtime.
They do delicious breakfasts, great Caesar salad and other salads, and fantastic specials. Every meal I’ve ever had there has been spot on!
