After the initial wow factor of a masterchef contestant, I have visited the middle store a few more times. The food is still good, but portion sizes are gradually shrinking. Compared to other places near here $ 13 for a salad is just too much when there’s not much to it.

My mother and I went here on my birthday, just a few days after it opened. It honestly is amazing. The food is devine, I’ve not experienced this kind of home cooked yet up market food at a café for a long time. The baklava was perfection. And the owner is so lovely! We didn’t realise she was from masterchef until people asked her for a photo whilst we were eating! She was so friendly and you could see she’s really giving this her all. The family vibe and warmth it provides really sets this place apart from many other cafes. I absolutely hope this place does super well!

I’m a bit of a fan of Master Chef, so when I heard Rose from Master Chef 2015 had opened a store in Adelaide I was pretty keen to try it out. I must say it didn’t disappoint! I had the lamb kofta burger(devine) and an iced coffee which is the best one I’ve had. Being a family business, the service is relaxed and friendly which makes the environment feel really cosy… Kind of like going to a friends place for lunch. The food is reasonably priced which makes it an affordable, worthwhile outing. It is a little hard to find, as its not overly well signed, but if your going and find it a little hard to locate, be patient and use Siri because it is worth the little extra effort. I drove 45mins to try this place and I would happily to do it again, in fact I plan to!
