WOW! What a delightful find. We all seems to congregate around The Block Arcade and others, but if we step out a little we’ll find little gems such as The Little Royal. These scrumptious delights melt in your mouth. They have flavour that is perfect and the softness of the ‘biscuit’ is broken with a gentle bite. The filling is sweet and packs a punch, yet not heavy and over powering. At $ 3:00 each, $ 18 for six or $ 35 they aren’t the cheapest treat but well worth the spend. A delightful treat that you will not be disappointed with. I would highly recommend The Little Royal. Happy eating.

The Little Royal in Royal Arcade. Monarch Cakes in St Kilda. I see a theme. Thus, this shall be a very… republican review. Or not. Hands down, the best coffee I had in Melbourne. They use Bonsoy because«there isn’t any better soy milk» said the proprietor. Charming little kiosk – if only more mall kiosks were as cute as this one. Friendly, passionate service. Great coffee. That’s all that needs to be said. Oh, this place, like government, is about the people. Republican enough for you? ++++ VEGANFRIENDLINESS — Bonsoy. Check. Macarons made with egg and other animal stuff. Cross.
