This is one of the only venue on the upper-side of little collins that is packed on weekends. Stellini is usually home to the business suits that venture down for some lunch during the week(as i did once) but i dined here this afternoon and have to say, as a weekend lunch venue; this place rocks! I had snuck into the city to catch up with a friend(bailed on my helping my house mate clean the house) and he wanted to see a store up on Little Collins and as we wandered, Stellini called out to us. The venue was packed with patrons, all smiles and food to suit. I saw chalked up on the front window ‘Home-made pasta’ and i could no longer resist. The home-made pasta was made to perfection, some of the best i’ve tasted, a true treat! We dined in and enjoyed the likes of the friendly staff, seating arrangements and with a great wine and desert list, this place is a keeper!

Stellini is a small, unassuming bar/restaurant tucked away on Little Collins. I had a quick lunch at Stellini and thought it was pretty good. I had a risotto that was near-perfect with lots of flavour, but unfortunately it was a small serving size for the price — I could have had a second helping. I also had a glass of King Valley Prosecco(I think I’m incapable of resisting it) which was delightful. The restaurant itself is sleek but not too formal — perfect for a relaxing lunch. My only reservation is the prices as they’re clearly pitched at a corporate crowd.

Stelini is a small bar/café that is a popular lunch spot for business workers in it’s corner of town. It’s a nice little space with a bright and summery feel to it. The coffee is decent and the lunch menu is good, if not perhaps a little pricey for the sometimes small servings. The minestrone soup is particularly delicious and good value for around $ 10(served with crusty bread).
