The food is tasty here but a little inconsistent. I stay at the hotel a lot for work and it is easy to pop down for a quick dinner but even ordering the same thing again and again it is different each time. The service is great and it’s never very busy so it’s a great spot to pop down to for dinner. Breakfast on the other hand is amazing! If I could separate the scores I would give them 5 stars just for breakfast! There are so many tasty options and for a confidential cereal loving me it’s super yummy!

this is the only restaurant in the restaurant,it is said to be mordern australian cusine, food is very disappointing,we tried their seafood special,it is said to be fished by a fisher based in tasmanian area,we had king prawn (9AUD each)and nannygai (AUD40),the seafood quality is good, but the cooking sucks!esp.the nannygai is grilled too much, too dry and not tender. the main course veal chop (AUD49 )is even worse,it is quite burnt, not exaggerating, the veal chop is in heavy charcoaled flavor, the outside part is in dark black and very hard, had to be cut off.

It’s always tricky with a table for one — and eating on your own is a bit of a drag, although its a case of having to get used to it when you travel a lot — either that or you end up entertaining heaps and that can be very wearing. So often singles end up with a table tucked away somewhere so as not to embarrass the other patrons. So I was pleasantly surprised to be given a nice table in this rather modern restaurant in the Park Hyatt in Melbourne. It lacks a little in atmosphere, but then most hotel restaurants do, and this has more than many. Menu is very nice, wine list good, plenty of good reds by the glass. In due course I order a couple of courses, and settle in to read a paper offered to me by the staff. When a bowl of soup turned up I was no no, I didn’t order the soup — turned out to be a complimentary amuse bouche with some delicious bread — and man was it good! And so was the rest of the meal. So much so I ended up with 3 glasses of red(woops) and a desert as well — o well, only had to lumber over to the elevator and stagger a few steps to bed! Recommended if you are staying in house…
