A charming store, hidden away on the top floor of Australia arcade. Inside you will find objects of interest ranging from hair decoration and origami paper to kimono and one-​off pieces of antique furniture. A lovely gift shop indeed, gift wrapping is available and you will leave feeling serene from the burning incense and wishing you could afford to buy more.
But…Shhhh… If you liked the homewares, the ceramic plates, the sake cups, the chopstick rests… all of these and many more are available from the outlet in South Melbourne for a fraction of the price. It’s certainly not the same atmosphere, but you will enjoy walking the long tables, examining the one-​of-​a-​kind pieces of pottery.
Also, putting together a sake set with various patterned cups makes a lovely gift for someone who has everything. Just don’t forget to buy some sake too!
