If the shopping mall jewellers make you gag and you want something a bit more unique, this should be your first stop. Of all the jewellers in Melbourne CBD, I think Keshett has the most unique range I have seen, with a good mix of vintage and art deco style pieces, both antique and new. It’s not all just Gatsby era stuff either, even their simple bands had a much bigger range to choose from than many others.
Be warned though, this place is not cheap. I spied a unique pink sapphire rose gold eternity band that was double my budget and had to leave that one with them. The service was pretty terse too, the attitude I got was pretty much that I should let them know if I was serious about buying something so they could determine if they should make any kind of effort. Another couple selecting their wedding rings were getting such warm service and very much caught up in the ‘big day’ hype, so I suppose they thought I was a tyre kicker as someone taking my time and more cynical on the wedding tax.
So if you’re shopping for something unique and can afford the investment, I really would recommend checking it out but I probably wouldn’t hurry back myself.

I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of antique/​vintage jewelry. One fine day, I woke up and decided Art Deco is my favorite era of jewelry and I must own it. Few hints to the boy, some googling, and we landed up at Keshett. And there they were. Beautiful art deco rings with rubies, sapphires, onyx. Ah be still my beating heart. (That ended really well for my finger, but never mind)
Apart from vintage jewelry, they also sell new pieces with vintage designs.
Ring resizing took just a day. Perfectly executed. And as asked, spare gold was given back to us.
