This is a new favourite of mine. Cool, day of the dead, themed space, with lots of nooks and crannys to get lost in. It also has unlimited serves of free popcorn all night long!

Hidden down a laneway, up another alley and then up a dark staircase to the second level. walk through the neon lights and boom you have entered The House of Maximon. A brightly colored bar with a theme based on the South American god of the underworld (day of the dead style artworks everywhere).
Cocktails are really good, wine is great (I recommend the Stone Dwellers shiraz) and there is a bartender who is a certified witch. They serve pop corn, little weird tapas and have a chandelier made of real sheep jaw-​bones. There is some very FANCY vodka in the crystal skulls on the top shelf that is actually really nice to drink straight. There is also a confessional booth and a dancefloor to visit in either order.
The bar isn’t huge, so the vibe is friendly and fun. Music is hit and miss though.
Same owner as Berlin Bar and Eurotrash and yes they are all in the same building so makes for a very easy bar crawl.
