Baxter Institute

I’ve walked passed this place on my way to work for the last year now. Having had my hairdresser pack up and leave without notice and I was desperate for a fringe trim. So I thought what the hell it’s close, I’ll give it a go.
I’ll admit being an institute I was a little nervous thinking some student hack would leave me looking a bit worse for wear. I walked in and one of the teachers quickly found someone to help me. Walking towards the back of the building to the treatment rooms I was a bit concerned but my beauty therapist was chatty friendly and über professional.
The treatment rooms were spotless, not as pretty as other salons but hey with the cost of an eyebrow wax only $ 11, less then half of the average full service salon I don’t mind a spare treatment room. My therapist was excellent. She was not a student but rather a full time employee who works there, so treatments are done by experienced staff.
She also trimmed by fringe and I was pleasantly surprised when the bill came to $ 19. Apart from hair and waxing they also do massages, pedis and manis. I will be back and will be referring my friends to go there as well. Great value for money and great service.
