Just found this pizza place and I love it! They make the pizzas right in front of you. We got takeaway. The staff are really friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our pizza at all. They also do half half pizza! Medium pizza was around $ 20. On my half I had chicken satay and there where heaps of topping and it was soooooo good!

This little pizza joint is an absolute gem. They are a small family operated business near the Maylands train station and have been there for ever. The service is super friendly and fast! And the pizza is delicious and always generously topped. They have arrange of different options on their menu, spanning from pasta, to parmi’s and seafood platters, but I’ve only had the pizza’s. The do get a lot of orders on the weekend. So if you don’t wanna be waiting long, order early!

What can you say about Leo’s — great pizza — always friendly service. Been in Maylands for as long as I can remember. Almost a weekly ritual on the weekend. So much better than the chain/franchise stores.

I am a big lover of the Mexican pizza here, the base isn’t too thick or thin and they put a good amount of tomato sauce on. They come in three sizes which are regular 11 inch, medium 13 inch and family 15 inch, we always order 2 of the mediums so there are left overs for the next day. You will spend more here than the famous Domino’s, but then we are not comparing apples with apples, these pizzas are far superior. They also do all things Italian here just as Schnitzels, I think I also remember a good friend of mine tucking into a takeaway spag bog once. The pizzas are juicy and have loads of flavour, I just cant help wondering when Perth will see a New York style Pizzeria instead of the Italian pizzas that seem to be the norm here. They do home delivery here, however if you order on a Friday or Saturday night expect to wait.

While the outside of Leo’s Pizza is definitely used and abused, the reputation for this place superseded its look. Leo’s Pizza is conveniently located on the edge of downtown Maylands, right across the street from the train station. I ordered the large pizza with all of the vegetables they could muster. When the pizza came out, I wished that it was bigger. But what I did get was a delicious pizza that was enough for two people to share. The crust of the pizza was really great, and they also take a lot of pride in their dough, using a secret recipe that they mix together every afternoon. It’s a shame that they aren’t open for lunch, but they are open 7 days a week, until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

Everyone in Maylands knows Leo’s. The local staple pizzeria presents itself as a retro, albeit a little tacky, 70s style pizza joint. Generous servings of greasy(in the best way), well covered pizzas in a variety styles. Alternatives to the norm include a spicy chicken pizza, which I would totally recommend. Free home delivery makes it easy for lazy folk like myself too, tasty and easy.

Leo’s is an unobtrusive pizza place in Maylands, located on the Eighth Avenue café strip. While the appearance of Leo’s is best described as utilitarian, it doesn’t matter because Leo’s is a takeaway place. There is an extensive range of pizzas available at Leo’s. The highlight is their meat lover’s pizza, with a mouthwatering mixture of ham and cheese. Their garlic bread is also good, with generous servings of butter between the slices. Their prices are fair, and for less than $ 30, you can have a family-sized pizza, with garlic bread and a drink. If you are looking for a good pizza around the Maylands area, Leo’s is worth a call.
