This place is so artistic and authentic. The staff is friendly and service is quick. The café is clean and tidy, very artsy. Delicious drinks, would recommend everyone to come here.

Friendly service (waitress’ greeting: «OK let’s do this!» sets the tone). A top spot to sit in the sun and people watch (and by «people» I mean «hot surfers»).
It’s open at night with great cocktails (espresso martini, a sherbet thingy) and excellent beer list.
Used to do an awesome $ 10 Pasta Thursday, but they foolishly replaced it with tapas — when there is a Spanish place a few doors down! Sadly, we left. Breakfasts are good, coffee nice but small cups. Just realized I’ve never done lunch here.

A great new addition to Maroubra — such a welcoming atmosphere.
The walls are covered with cool chalk murals (hence the name), which are constantly changing.
The coffee is definitely the best in the local area & the breakfast menu is excellent.
They’re more than happy to accommodate the needs of the more fussy amongst us too — my new local I think !
