During the day it’s fine for a drink but when at night and your over 30 try not to end up here if you can. You might be waiting an hour for a drink because they don’t use glass they use plastic cups… but to be honest if your 30 you should be someone better. If your 18 then this is the place you should definitely be in!!!

I’ve heard about the infamous Shore Club but hadn’t found an occasion to go there until a 30th I attended on the weekend. The Shore Club is located in prime position, just steps from the beach. The function I attended started at 1PM and was held upstairs on a cute balcony. The balcony was big enough to hold a decent size party but small enough to feel intimate. As the night kicked on the party moved downstairs. Slowly the Shore Club starts to turn into a club as the music starts to pump, lights start to strobe and a LONG line starts to develop at the door. It was a good, fun night at Shore Bar but a word of warning is that the crowd is on the younger side(early 20s).

Manly has plenty of nightlife, with plenty of different vibes to choose from. But when you’re looking to kick it with the glamorous set of the Northern Beaches, look no further than Shore Club. The venue itself is beautiful and very modern — a bit of a contrast to its neighbour The Steyne! It’s full of pretty young 18 — 25 year old boys and girls looking to look good, have a dance, have a drink and optimally, take another beautiful young person home. The vibe is most definitely young and beautiful, or, as one friend puts it «Ridiculously wanky.» Shore Club also does meals, which surprised me a great deal when I walked past one lunch time… so THAT’S what it actually looks like! But for the best Shore Club experience skip the dinner with the parents, and head down on a pumping Sunday night for a dance with Manly’s finest.

There’s nothing more exciting than kicking back at the good old shore club in Manly. Its modern and sleek bars attract a demographic of 18 – 25 year olds who enjoy a drink on the weekend on one of its three levels. Shore Club Sunday’s are raging, with the venue overflowing with patrons lining up at the bar, swinging on the dance pole or busting some moves on one of the three dance floors. The second floor has a very small, intimate VIP area which is more the size of a cupboard. The top level has a retractable roof to allow the summer breeze to drift in. An older demographic enjoys the relaxed atmosphere during the day and early afternoons. The venue is right on the beach and is easily accessible. It is also near to many of Manly’s other pubs and clubs, making pub crawls fun and easy. There are plenty of booths, stools and couches to perch or flirt on! If you’re lucky, you might just receive a free drink card from one of the staff! Entry is free on Sunday’s but is only open until 12pm so get the early for it to be worthwhile.
