The marguerites are really done well. We’re American… And the Mexican food here is a step below Taco Bell. The service was great. I returned my food and kept drinking and the waitress was a sweetheart. We ordered the cheese dip in a way to redeem ourselves and it is literally a mixture of cheap cheeses heated up in the microwave. You stick a chip in and it comes out clear. You have to beg that cheese to get on that chip. The chicken tacos apparently tasted like they were canned chicken. Again, sweet staff and dank margheritas. Make this a pregame spot for sure

Good authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Service wasn’t fantastic but good enough for a busy evening.

The servings are huge, price not bad and very attentive waitresses… Overall experience was great! I really like the complimentary corn chips and salsa starter… And the waitresses were great!

Cold and hungry I wandered in here the other night for a quick healthyish feed. It was not for me but I giving it a 3 instead of a 2 as I think if it was my type of mexican thats what it would deserve, as the portions are generous and the service was good. Tex mex style as opposed to the baja style I like it was all too heavy for me. The service was great and I loved that they give you chips and salsa when you sit down to nibble on. I had a salad that was amazing and a sangria that was wayyyyy to strong for me and I’ve never met a sangria I cant handle but this was like lighter fluid. I ordered my usual, fajitas. They were a huge portion it said for two but really three could share it(not a bad thing) but they were awful the seasoning seemed like it was old el paso out of a packet. There was also too much of the seasoning which made it have a weird grainy chunky film on all the ingredients. To be honest I probably won’t be back but the salad was so good and they had my favorite hot carrots so maybe I will give it one more chance.

This place is one of the best in Manly in terms of food quality and value for money. There is tasty complimentary salsa and chips when you arrive so you have something to snack on whilst you are deciding what you would like. The staff are friendly and never make you feel rushed. My favourite dish to order is a burrito and it comes with sides of rice, black beans and pink cabbage. For drinks I prefer one of their margaritas(with lots of salt and lime) or the sav blanc off the menu. I’ve never gotten to dessert because I have been so satisfied with the main. The restaurant is relatively small(only 40 pax) and casually decorated. It can get a little loud because of the small space and is usually full. You NEED to book or you will likely miss out… there are a lot of walk ins… or ‘attempted’ walk ins. Only downsides other than the size is that you must walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom and they don’t have a website. I pretty much think all restaurants should have a site these days but I will overlook any cons about this place because: — the food is great and fairly priced — the staff are nice and genuine — the place has a very Manly feeling to it… nice and casual Tips: — Book book book book BOOK! — Try a margarita — Save room in your stomach before you come or you will be struggling to finish — Don’t go to Mexico via Manly(on Manly beachfront) over this place. It may look prettier but it’s not even in the same league as this place.
