I even love collecting visitors from the airport; the thrill and excitement of seeing old friends and rellies emerge from the doors, that first embrace. It’s all great, and there’s no better city to show off than Sydney.
… but … trekking back over the bridge and out along Southern Cross Drive simply to say goodbye? I’m not so sure .
Enter the Airport bus — the Manly Airport Bus to be precise. Typical laconic friendly beaches service, that actually turns up on time. Ring and arrange what you need; you might get a dedicated service or you might share with other travellers, but either way once the doors close the trip has begun. Wave goodbye to your guests and head back to the beach.
In fact, it’s worked so well for guests, we’ll use it to get there ourselves next time. Services the beaches from Palm Beach down to Mosman and inland to French’s Forest. Also perfect for groups.
