Best meal we had over two weeks in Oz. the pork belly was incredible. Twice roasted, crackled crust, bed of puréed fava beans. Very rich, but perfect with a glass of semillon. We had lunch outside, which was warm but worth it for the beach view. Not to be missed in Manly.

In warmer weather(which seems rare these December, 2011 days) Little Manly Beach Kiosk is open for dinners from Wednesday — Sunday. Take heed though bookings are essential, I emphasise this in case you have had a wonderful day at one of Sydney’s best beaches and you turn up to Little Manly Beach Kiosk to complete this perfect day and they won’t take you. With forward planning — it’s worth all the trouble. We have a group of 20 so that means our ‘event extradornaire’(Mrs Fewell) can book the whole venue for Christmas dinner. It’s a two course set menu for $ 45 per person with entrees being a choice from either Samosa’s and Salt and Pepper Squid both dishes are delectable and cooked to perfection. The main is either Baramundi or Rack of Lamb. The Baramundi was clean with a perfectly mild taste and delicate texture. The dressing completes the whole dish. I sampled my partners Rack of Lamb and the meat is also cooked perfectly with silken pliancy. Little Manly Beach Kiosk is also BYO which makes its even better value. The menu of course changes according to seasonal and avaliable produce. The sunset that evening is incredible and the staff are very accommodating with the service being perfect. Such a beautiful location and a simple venue which is extraordinary in the evenings. Highly recommended to try.
