The Lock Tamer

The Local Tamer is an unassuming little shop on Preston Road, right on the famous Corner House roundabout, for anyone who knows the bayside area. Wynnum has more hairdressers than any place I’ve ever known — a quick count on Google Maps shows more than 40 in the Wynnum/​Manly area alone, so you can pretty well shop around, which I used to do until I found the Lock Tamer.
The girls there are really good cutters and the last colour I had there was a bargain that lasted for ages. I have reasons for liking this place that will colour my assessment, including the fact that it’s very local for me and there’s always a special going on, however, the most compelling reason I’ll return is that recently two of us got a spray tan, cut and colour for just over $ 100.
