If I could give this two-and-a-half stars I would as I was frankly a bit disappointed with our order last night. Tired and not finding any vouchers for the churn shop pizzas, I decided to call up Pizzaland, which used to be great. When you ‘re spending $ 17 to $ 22 dollars on a big, fat pizza you want a good one, as on a good day you can pick up the cheapies for around 7 or 8 dollars(I prefer the big ‘Aussie’ solid numbers but the kids like the mass made varieties from the pizza chain stores). I say ‘Aussie’ because you don’t get three centimetre high toppings in Italy, that’s for sure. We waited 45 minutes for our order, which seemed like a long time on a Wednesday night, but that was OK; what was disappointing was that although the pizzas looked really excellent only one of the three we ordered measured up taste-wise. The seafood pizza was probably not one we’d regularly order, but we found it bland unfortunately, as we did the Mediterranean, which just lacked a certain something. We probably will try again as it is our local, but hope they get the combinations honed and bring back the old flavours for our taste buds’ sakes.
