My family and I have been eating at Mitzu regularly for about 4 years now. As always, they never disappoint, and the manager and staff are ever-​so-​friendly! The sushi is well-​priced, and always delicious, with most plates being $ 3.50 for two pieces, although the prices do increase with plate colour, and sashimi is $ 7 I think for 7 pieces, which is not bad.

Not a bad place! I visited this place twice during my little sabbatical job as an elf, usually after a shift to recharge after hours of jumping around and making kids smile.
With most dishes being $ 3.50 per dish (but do be careful if you’re not prepared to pay for a more expensive dish — the dish colours are not clear enough in my opinion), that’s not too bad value, although the size of the nigiri are a little small. Most decent dishes are of the $ 3.50 kind. And even though one of my visits was close to closing time at the Centre, the dishes were still pretty fresh, and you can order from the menu and have the chefs make nigiri for you… and that impresses me. I’d be happy to eat here the next time I’m at Macquarie Centre (if I’m not eating at Ippudo or Chef’s Gallery, which in my opinion are the two stand-​out places at Mac Centre… which says a lot given they’re nice but not rock star places if at anywhere else).
