Slickers Horse Riding

Slickers Horse Riding is located in the beautiful Kurwongbah which is a little bit of a drive from the CBD but one of the only riding schools I know of which is less than an hour away. Darren is a great bloke — really friendly, typical bushy.
The horses are lovely and the friendly staff can make even the most amateur rider feel comfortable. On weekend they offer a vineyard on horseback experience which is amazing! Darren owns two properties, the riding school n Dunlop Lane and another large property at Ocean View which is where he runs most of his trail rides from — this property has stunning views of Moreton Bay.
Trail rides start from as little as $ 25. I recommend the Sunday winery tour, it is lots of fun, especially with a group of good friends.
Slicker’s also offer a very unique agistment service. For $ 60.00 a week you can lease a horse, complete with food, shoes, tack and vet care! Definitely a cheaper option than owning our own.
