Back to our old Sunday brunch place for Waffles this morning after a long hiatus. As always the waffles were delicious, Who doesn’t love Waffles, ice-cream, strawberries, banana and cream with warm maple syrup on the side ! Although today they scandalously ran out of bananas but we got extra strawberries so I really wasn’t too upset. And you cant have Waffles with out coffee, there coffee is always smooth and mild, I prefer a stronger coffee and know that next time i will be asking for an extra shot of coffee. But it was an awfully pretty coffee with some latte art on top, a lady with long flowing hair, which was kinda cool and very different from the usual leaves and hearts I see. Service is a bit hit and miss here, as is there EFTPOS connection. The young lady who started serving us today(and was dressed to suit the theme of the store, so cute) was absolutley lovely, but as the EFTPOS machine crashed her manager came out and tried to fix it, and decided that yelling to the staff in the back right in my face was appropriate, not impressed. But dont let the potential bad service deter, the food is worth it! And while you are eating, whether out on the porch or inside in the very retro booths, don’t forget to look at all the music memorabilla and knick knacks on the walls and shelves from lots of different decades. Let me know if you spot the dancing coke can which i believe is circa 1980’s and the wierd ‘Modern Man” poster. And after you have had your fill go wandering the markets!
