Great coffee! Great service :) What more could I ask for? Both cafes here are essentially across the road from each other. Pick one(or both) and enjoy a perfectly-made, hot caffeinated beverage.

There are businesses trading as Macchina in Kingsgrove. Both are good. The better version is near the Woolworths. The food is good. The seating is comfortable. Very pleasant.

A welcome sight for early morning sleepy coffee-needers! The only place in Kingsgrove that opens early enough for the morning commute(pre-6.30am), and the coffee is surprisingly delicious! My latte was creamy, sweet, chocolatey and went down so well so early in the morning! Friendly staff too which is always nice :)

Good coffee, well extracted. Nice open setting particularly on a warm day. Burgers are a must try.

No doubt the Pottery has brought Kingsgrove into the trendy zone, and alas I am incredibly fortunate to live one suburb away. Will enjoy the fun while it lasts. Not much of a coffee drinker, yet Macchina is a Saturday morning holy grail paradise after a bout of early morning shopping at the nearby Woolworths supermarket. A latte love at $ 3 a pop with unlimited water is paradise. A great way to kill the challenge of trains coming once every half an hour… but catch 22, you live in the next suburb, yet it’s a bit heavy carrying your groceries home by walking. You have to wait for the train. A latte at Macchina is a pleasant way of waiting for the train back home with groceries in tow. The cakes and other delicacies are appetising, and their latte is just bliss. I love their iced chai drinks too. When I first came here last year, a small size was $ 5(extremely filling) with a large for only 50 cents extra. However, I walked here one Sunday afternoon from my home, and I was wanting a small iced chai, yet was informed that they only come in «one» size. Slightly disappointed, even though it’s only 50 cents of separation. The large was larger than life, yet still delicious.

James is always right. This is going to be my motto in life. So I saw that James loved the coffee, so I decided to try it when I was in the area. When i first walked I thought that this was going to be a bad experience. But I was 100% wrong! This is amazing coffee, amazing food and overall a great experience. The staff here are extremely friendly, and clearly love and have fun with what they do. I will definately be coming here again, when I am in the area. The only problem was trying to find parking. This was a bit tricky, but completely worth it.

If you are in Kingsgrove, don’t be overly confused by Macchina Espresso showing in two locations.. It is not a misprint. Macchina Espresso bought out the espresso bar on the highway and has set up the shop closer to Woolworths as their roaster and kitchen. Btw. this review is for the café closer to Woolworths. As for the coffee, given that they are roasting in house, it almost goes without saying that they are passionate about their product. Refusing to sell single origin roasts that are too young shows that they are focused on quality. Their house blend as a mac was not overly dark, but still something that, in comparison to the«Surry Hills light roast» is certainly more robust. Either way it finished well. That they normally have single origin roasts is also a great sign. If you are in the area this café is going to be the obvious choice. Coffee: Macchina Coffee Passion: 9⁄10 Crema: 8⁄10
