Khang’s is our go to when we are starving hungry and want to get in, get out. The Phở is one of the best you can get, order small as the servings are HUGE, its always busy — a good sign. Haven t had a bad meal here yet… our kids love it. Laksa, pork, Phở, Satay. we have pretty much worked through the menu, staff are lovely too!

This place is absolutely delicious, and has huge sizes for great prices!!! We have been here about 5 times since discovering it recently. The food is fresh, the service is great and the price is even better. I have tried both fresh beef and the chicken noodle soup, the chicken Laksa and the tossed egg noodles and have never had a bad meal. This place has a steady stream of customers all day for a reason — I would definitely highly recommend it for anyone who is a lover of fresh noodle soups.

Very affordable, always delicious. My favourite is fresh beef noodles soup. Just try to arrive with time, sometimes is packed, and the only closed day is Wednesday.

I had a hankering for phở and Khang’s Noodles came as a recommendation from my friend. I don’t know how this place has slipped my radar but after a quick search in Unilocal — I felt reassured that I wasn’t going to leave hungry or disappointed. It was the perfect weather for a steaming bowl of phở, it was blustery and chilly outside, but there is nothing like a bowl of soupy goodness to nurture the soul. The menu was quite varied with all sorts of entrée, rice, noodles, mains and dessert dishes. I had already decided on what I wanted but would be keen to return again to try another dish. My friend ordered the spicy chicken and pork noodles and I had the combination phở. Be aware the portions here are HUGE! A small bowl is enough for the average dinner but the medium was more than enough! It was only $ 10 for a small but since it was only $ 1 extra to upgrade — I went the medium to see how much I could eat. The intoxicating scent in the restaurant was making me salivate so we ordered deep fried tofu to snack on while we waited. Service was fast and efficient, only moments after the tofu arrived, our mains was delivered before I could even take a bite of my tofu. Now I have a process before I dig into my phở, I scatter plenty of fresh Vietnamese basil, coriander and fresh chilli, a good handful of beansprouts, a squeeze of lemon and squeeze in a good dollop of hoisin sauce. I also have have an extra bit of hoisin sauce on the side to dip my beef in. And now the taste test, I take a sip of soup and almost wept tears of happiness when I inhaled my steaming hot bowl of combination. The broth past my taste test, a rich stock with perfect spices and seasoning to tickle my tastebuds, the meat was plentiful and thinly sliced, the portions were huge! Definitely coming back here again!

If you want to dig in, in a huge bowl filled with amazingly rich flavoured noodle soups, you should not miss this restaurant. The price is reasonable, good ambience, clean and they have good service. :)

Good Noodles(and more) Kang’s Noodles has been around for many many years in several locations. It’s now located behind the Arndale Shopping Centre and Greater Union Cinema so it’s perfect for a feed before or after a movie. They do a delicious Laksa and Pad Thai noodles among many more tasty Asian treats. Pricing is also good and you get a big feed for your bucks.

Thoroughly enjoyed dining here with my friends. Large servings. In both the noodle soup and vermecilli. Okay that’s an understatement; they’re massive. Great service. Incredibly fast, although we ate in an off peak period. I ate a small combination beef soup. Which was great, flavor in the broth was clean and the Chilli was/is hot :) I opted for Roast Pork on broken rice. Pork was amazing, crispy. The rice was average white rice which is alright, but not as fresh as it could have been. My two friends finally got through their Vermicilli. They both rated their food at 4.5 /5 in comparison to venues serving similar food. Enjoyed the music for Chinese New Year. There was talk between us on the table that we would be back to eat here again soon. However there seem to be more and more of these quality venues thanks to Unilocalers!

Khang’s is a convenient and usually reliable Vietnamese restaurant in the western suburbs, close to the Greater Union cinema complex. I’ve been coming here roughly once every couple of months for several years. Approximately a year ago there seemed to have been a change in management. The good(with change in management): much cleaner premises! The bad: some dishes are much oiler than in the past, including their omelettes! I strongly recommend the Phở Bo(beef soup) and Pad Thai. Tasty, fresh, and the Phở is always full flavoured. A friend of mine loves and always orders the fried rice. Take away is available too and they do the takeaway phở right — they keep the noodles and soup separate so it doesn’t get soggy. Cheap, usually tasty(watch that oil!), and usually reasonable customer service.(I.e. It’s fair for the prices of the dishes you’re eating.)

Their phos are the best. We have to drive fair bit to get here but it’s always worth it! Combination beef and viet ice white coffee = yum! This is my go to place for post-big night out :)

Love this place, huge serves of Phở(beef noodle) with generous spread of vegetable to put in the hot soup. Their broken rice dish with extra crunchy roast pork is to die for !!
