Music in Mind is a music school which allows you to have the highest quality music lessons in the comfort and privacy of your home. Comprised of a group of passionate musicians who came together with the idea of creating a new music learning experience, our focus is to take a «no-​compromises» approach to teaching, meaning we spend more time with each student, and tailor each lesson to the student’s individual goals. We offer lessons in guitar, piano, violin, voice, drums, bass, sax, trumpet and flute.

History

Established in 2011.

Myself and my partner Andrew had been music teachers for over 15 years already when we started Music in Mind. We wanted to create a new music teaching experience that allowed families the convenience of having music teachers come to them, rather than having to rush kids around after school.

Central to our philosophy is the idea of developing a relationship between student and teacher, and spending more time with students. This allows us to teach more comprehensively and thoroughly. We utilise technology to assist in teaching, and try and tailer each lesson to the students needs.

We offer performance opportunities throughout the year, and can prepare students for external exams such as AMEB, ANZCA etc.
