Spice of India is an Indian Restaurant located along Gympie Rd, Kedron. I first visited it in November 2011 and was pleasantly surprised by the 2 curries I ordered. Not only were they ready in 15 minutes but that also came with free saffron rice! I went back again in December with family members who all contributed to the combined tip we gave the waitress for great service. Hint: order the ‘Mango Lassi’ dessert drink for a delicious thick mango yogurt thickshake. A pleasant dining experience. 3rd time lucky. again in January I dined in with a few friends on a Sunday night which meant we bought 1 curry and got the 2nd half price. We also tried the ‘Cheese and Spinach Naan’ which was tasty and filling. I’ve recently experienced the All You Can Eat Buffet which is available on Wednesday and Thursday nights for only $ 16.95 and it was marvellous. The ‘Kheer’ dessert is a must. One of the few buffets of it’s kind that offers entrée, main, breads, dessert, fruit AND veg salad — plus they regularly restock it during the evening. To say I’ve used all of Spice of India’s services all I need to do is order home delivery which I’m sure will be perfect for a cold winter’s night. Can’t wait! Spice of India is great for singles, couples, families, and Indian food enthusiasts. Delicious, authentic food at a great price makes it among my top 5 Brisbane restaurants. So consider me a regular(they do!).
