Mecca Maxima – Joondalup

Every single time I have been to Mecca maxima Joondalup to buy a present for my sister or friends it’s been unpleasant at best.
Today I had to wait ½ an hour in store to see if this Nars brush is in stock (was buying Christmas presents for family) I didn’t get served for almost 10 minutes even though there was staff chatting amongst themselves, once I got served the shop assistant look a really long time trying to find the brush that we asked for after she couldn’t find it she asked another staff member and went out the back to find it she came back and said she couldn’t find any stock and she would look at the other stores stock. She found some stock in a store about 25 minute drive from this store but said they don’t ship stock in from other stores so we would have to get it ourselves. She then said she would look online for stock which took her 10 minutes more (she needed to get help from another staff member) she came back and told us they did. We decided to just get in online hoping it will come in time for Christmas but I also needed to get a gift voucher for another friend when I asked the lady after she served us she said you will have to go to the back of the line and wait to be served buy someone else (the line was out the door with only 1 cashier on) I wouldn’t have minded if we had only been in ten store for 5 minutes and she said that but we had already wasted a good ½ hour at this point and I couldn’t be bothered wasting more time and giving them my money. When I went home to buy the brush online I checked the store stock to see were the other stores are and it said that Joondalup had stock in so either the website is faulty or the staff needs to be trained better in finding stock out the back.
That was my experience today with Mecca maxima Joondalup but in the past multiple time I have gone in there and they have been out of stock on items so this isn’t a one off thing the store was also very dirty today with hairs coming off some of the makeup.

This store is sensationally well run!
I took my sixteen year old daughter here for her ball make up, and was delighted with how well the girls at Mecca took care of her.
Despite the busyness of a Saturday during ‘ball season’, the staff were incredibly cheerful, patient and professional.
The store manager, Yasmin, deserves recognition for her outstanding leadership.
She is super positive and highly skilled in makeup artistry.

Its glitzy, glamourous and absolute girl heaven. At the shiny new Mecca Maxima store at Lakeside, you can expect to find everything from makeup, skincare, perfume, haircare and heaps more. Perth has been needing a cosmetics store like this for quite some time (well at least I have) and is the perfect edition to the newly developed shopping centre.
Here you can test and try all of the products before you buy them and the girls here can help you to achieve the perfect look with their expertise. There is a huge range of brands and if you are addicted to makeup like me you probably won’t be leaving the store empty handed on any visit.
