Oh never again. Once was enough. Staff were rude. Waited 15 mins to get a seat and they weren’t even at capacity. We were told to wait at the bar to be seated and ended up getting a free drink by the girl behind the bar because I think she felt sorry for us. Agree totally with the arriving and paying statement of prior Unilocal reviewer. We were waiting in line to be seated all the while a server would cut payers I front of us so they could pay for food and leave. Never walked out of a restaurant without eating before. Such a bad night for us.

I have been here a few times now, and I am not a huge fan. The acoustics in the space don’t allow for decent conversation and getting seated is always a bit of an issue. There seems tro be a confusing system where people who arrive and people who are waiting to pay seems to converge in the same area. This means it is difficult for staff to pick up on people who have arrived and are waiting to be greeted and seated.
The food is good, like all other Hog’s Breath Cafes so it is a shame that the customer experience issues drag it down a bit. This one is close to be added to my «never again» list.

Only been once but that was one more time than anyone should venture, simply the worst dining experience in Ipswich. Staff are overly chatty, yet unhelpful; more interested in what you are doing tonight than taking your order.
The menu lacks any real variation and meals are stacked with filler. What really took the cake was after informing the waitress of a food allergy to onion in our party and going through extensive means to find a menu item without onion involved we were brought out a burger with onion in the filler and completely inedible by the member of our party. We were still charged $ 16.95 for it though.
There is no onsite parking, and street parking on this main street is extremely limited (and requires the feeding of a parking meter). Pricing is far too high given filler is used to flesh out the meals. The aesthetic is confused and atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, this location offers a low value dining solution.
