We have started coming here regularly. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food is great. Always somethings to do. 2pool tablez air hockey abd a couple of other games. The TAB isn’t great but its ok. Needs another betting machine. It dosnt take up half the pub like some other places ive been. Service is a bit slow but its nit to bad beers are always cold. Lots if screans through out. The outside ares ar also great separate smoking areas so you dont have to be stuck with smokers while enjoying the outside. We definitely are becoming regulars.

Awesome fresh fish and chips. Enjoyed a family lunch here while visiting Australia. Recommend

Good place to go for a pint after work or watch a sporting event. I wouldn’t however recommend the restaurant, yet to have a good meal there and many friends say the same thing.
That being said the drinks are reasonably priced, there’s pool tables and a TAB for those who are up for punt so as a general watering hole it does the trick.

Now that this is pretty much my local, i feel like i should write a review!
I used to come here quite a bit a few years ago, and to be honest, i liked it better the way it was. The layout and refurb is nice, but i just think it has gotten a lot quieter, espeically on Sundays! Sunday sesh at the Saint used to be great fun, or maybe I’m just getting older?
Anyway, I have come here for a feed for the past few nights and I do think its a nice place, the meals arent always great but the specials are (the special food nights i mean, for instant, Wednesday Night is Steak Night) $ 12 steak, salad and chips with a sauce… can’t complain!
They also have a different movie playing every Wednesday and give you beanbags to sit on, which is pretty cool and a free night out!
i do like this place, however not sure I would come here every weekend for a night out. But I would come for a couple of drinks with dinner or a casual few drinks over the weekend! :)

So disappointing…
Food and service were terrible!
Not only did it take a long time to get our meals they also forgot half of what we ordered. I appreciate that if it is busy things can be missed however when there is only 5 other people in there and 3 staff it’s not really acceptable. After we told them that they had forgotten our entrees when our mains arrived and we didn’t want them anymore they still brought them out and charged us for them… I don’t want my entrée after my main meal, if I wanted something else to eat after my main is order desert.
When ½ our meal finally arrived what we got was dry and burnt. Not at all enjoyable to eat.
How a chef can send food out like that and think it is acceptable for the price you have to pay is beyond me!
I think I’ll skip the saint next time I’m looking for a good feed.

A poor offering is what we received from the saint for lunch. The confit duck bore no resemblance to duck as the flavour was more reminiscent of chicken. The accompanying rice with cheese and mushrooms was an assumed attempt at risotto, but sadly tasted and looked like rice mixed with cheese. Yuck!

If we were rating purely by looks and décor’ The Saint would be pretty high up there, but when it comes down to service and quality of food it’s a different ball game.
I would go to The Saint for a Sunday Session or a casual drink, even to the Music Quiz night but other than that I wouldn’t bother.
I have unfortunately eaten at The Saint’s restaurants on a number of occasions, most of them being the Chilli Muscle special night. I have to admit some of the nights I attended were quite busy, but even if they weren’t the level of customer service did not change, it was always bad.
The staff takes ages to even come and initially take your order, then they often (not just on one occasion) forget what you ordered and it takes so long for them to make and serve you the meals. There has been more than one occasion where I have waited over an hour. The food is also not very great, the «levels» of hotness in the Chilli Muscles are all the same and the amount of sauce is very inconsistent. The bread is often stale or has a very strange taste, as if it was soaked in Dishwashing liquid.
I won’t ever eat here again, such a shame for a place that has such potential.
