Charcos Chicken

It ain’t only chicken they fry here, there are LOADS of different options to choose from. If you are in a room full of people and everyone wants something different drive out here cos it will save you time. You can get the Portuguese’s flat chicken and chips, salads, kebabs, burgers, potato dishes– you name it they do it.
The chips here are fantastic, they are big and crunchy– exactly how a fried chip should be… well I could go about hand made chips, but we just don’t do them that way in Oz.
I went in on Friday night and it was packed, I was going to turn back out as I thought this is going to take too long to get served– however they were on to the order very quickly and we were chowing down on our chicken in no time.
The Portuguese chicken is very lovely indeed, its best to eat it hot though as I found it a bit sloppy as a cold snack the next day.
I have heard the kebabs are pretty decent here too, all though I haven’t tried them personally.
