Bubble tea makes me smile. The colours and the jellies and pearls just look happy to me. Tea Bar in the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has some pretty good teas. I recommend you try their Kiwi Lemon Bubble Red Tea or their Lychee green tea or Taro Milk or… well I could almost recite their whole menu. The guys they have serving here are all pretty cool and good with recommendations if you are not sure exactly what to get. You can find this Tea Bar tucked away near Hungry Jacks in the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre food court.

Lychee Green Tea with Pearls thanks. Here’s my loyalty card, as you can see i’m on my 10th bubble tea, this one’s free. And that’s how I like it. I have tried the Straychee(Strawberry Lychee) teas, the peach teas, the taro milk teas(holy yummy batman) and a few others with the different jelly additions… rainbow jelly, aloe vera jelly… it’s all good. I’m not a big fan of super sweet, artificially flavoured bubble teas, and i’ve tasted my fair share(yes, the shop who sell the bubble tea at the Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre, i’m looking at you). The Tea Bar teas are very nice, not too sweet, not to not sweet… and the pearls are bouncy and soft and not gooey and overcooked. This is very important to me when I enjoy my $ 4.50 bubble tea. So definetely one of the nicer places for your bubble tea at Indooroopilly.
