History

Established in 1993.

Principal architect Gary Finn incorporated his firm as FS Architects Pty Limited in 2003 at its Hurstville office and continues to design social housing, aboriginal housing, medium density housing, group homes, preschools, child care centres and education facilities.

We have provided construction and project management services for multi-​million dollar government funded projects and for the private sector.

FS Architects provide disability access consultants, Architects, Interior design and Project Management.

Business Owner

Gary commenced as an assistant with John Langmead, Architect in Surry Hills in 1980 preparing architectural documents for clubs, theatres, shops, ambulance stations and residential dwellings. He was employed by McConnel Smith and Johnson Pty Limited for five years working predominantly on hospital developments and then worked for John Royle & Associates for five years in the construction of dwellings before establishing his own private practice as an architect on the South Coast of NSW in 1993.

Gary has completed a post-​graduate diploma in Construction Law from Melbourne University and has a Certificate in Professional Arbitration from Adelaide University and is an active member of the NSW Master Builder’s Association Legal & Contracts Committee.
