As the name suggests, this place sells dim sim goodies. You can buy them cooked, fresh out of the steamer or frozen. So many varieties on offer and definitely cheaper than buying at your local Yum Cha place. One morning I came with my husband, while he bought some Bread Sticks for the Chicken and Ginger Congee that he was planning on cooking, I perused their freezer section. Most of your dim sim favourites are there, like frozen Har Gao(Prawn Dumpling), Pork Bun, Pork and Chives Dumplings as well as other types of dumpling. They’re in a pack of 6, 12 and 24. I bought and at home tried to steam some Har Gao and lightly pan fried some of their Pork Dumplings. They definitely tasted better than most commercial brand dim sim sold in Supermarkets and Asian Supermarkets. The Pork Buns are super-big and super-soft with a small but very moist filling, the balance of gingery, shredded meat and sweet dough is perfect. We ended our dim sim shopping experience with some desserts of Egg Custard Tart and my favourite Asian dessert, Dou Fu Fa, silken and slippery tofu floated on a slightly sweet, slightly spiced, gingery, clear water broth. Win!
