Nuts Galore

This is the local branch of a chain of nut shops but it is a good one. The nuts are always fresh and kept hot in a lot of instances. You can buy in larger quantities than prepackaged at the supermarket so it’s cheaper and the more you buy, the lower the cost.
Each Xmas, I make heavy fruit cakes as gifts so I buy 1kg of blanched almonds to go on top. We make our own museli, so every batch takes 250g of nuts and we’re making it every 2 weeks now that the teen eating machine has discovered it. Try affording that at a supermarket. We make our own peanut butter so there’s a kilo of peanuts. Plus they’ve got snack mixes, various sugared nuts, a small range of boiled sweets and jellies and a yummy range of baklavas.
They do coffee too, for those who need it, although their position under the escalator doesn’t appeal to me as somewhere to linger.
For fresh nuts though, well worth a visit.
