A beautiful old pub with a dart board, a pool table and some of the warmest and friendliest service you could ask for. Beers are a great mix of standards and crafts, food is a mix of pub grub staples and some lighter and more interesting options and the playlist is always solid.
We didn’t witness it ourselves, but have been advised to try and convince the publican Dan to pick up his guitar and bust out a tune. By all reports he’s excellent.

It was dead the night I went in, but they do have a great selection of microbrews. The kitchen closed early so I didn’t have a chance to try chips… Probably worth a stop for a cleanser…
