I’d walked past this place many times before venturing in earlier this year (2008) and I’ve been in several times since.
The lunch menu isn’t incredibly adventurous but it’s fine for simple fare, reasonably priced for what it is. (Toasted sandwiches, quiche and wraps).
The coffee is really very good, even after repeat visits the standard stays consistent but the service is great. Every time I’ve been here — always at peak lunch hour — the service has been prompt, polite and even smiling. Last time they were in the middle of renovations to add more tables and the waiting staff were outstanding.
